SensorRAE
Sensor Conditioning System
The SensorRAE is a four socket electrochemical (EC) sensor conditioning station. It keeps RAE Systems' EC sensors warmed up and ready for immediate use when they are not installed in a SBM International ' multi-sensor product. Responders often require a complete "suite" of EC sensors (CO, H2S, SO2, NO, NO2, Cl2, HCN, PH3, and NH3) but may only be using one or two sensors at a time in a particular detector. EC sensors must reach an electrical stability to provide their best performance. While it takes less than an hour per CO sensor to stabilize, it takes at least 24 hours for a NH3 sensor (reference SBM International TN 114). However, when a particular chemical threat is identified, the appropriate sensor needs to be ready for use immediately upon installation in a detector.
When a specific EC sensor is required, remove it from the SensorRAE and insert it into the SBM International detector. The standard alarm points and calibration values will automatically be loaded into the detector. Reassemble the detector, turn it on, calibrate the sensor and it is ready for use.
Calibration Tools
SBM International provides a broad range of calibration gas cylinders varying in size from 11 liters to 103 liters. Money- and space-saving multi-gas mixtures are also offered, including the popular CO, H2S, LEL, and O2 mixes for portable and transportable multi- gas monitors. Calibration gas cylinders can be purchased individually or as part of calibration kits together with matching regulators, tubing adapters, and carrying cases. Both demand- and constant-flow regulators are available, as is a wide variety of tubing options.
RAELink3 Mesh
Portable Wireless Modem with GPS
RAELink3 Mesh enables RAE Systems personal gas and radiation detectors, and select 3rd party monitors to communicate wirelessly with ProRAE Guardian safety monitoring software so that commanders and emergency response coordinators can make better decisions in real time.
Fast assessments of the toxic hazards within a large area can be characterized by integrating real-time sensor readings from multiple instruments and technologies. As a result, commanders can make critical decisions such as emergency responder and public safety or evacuation more quickly.
